We are La Victoria
- Since 1892 -

At the end of the 19th century, the world experienced its first great coffee boom, and Colombia emerged as a privileged destination for visionary farmers. In the heart of the Victorian era, British families arrived in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, drawn by its exceptional climate, vast agricultural potential, and strategic proximity to the port of Santa Marta.
In 1892 The Victoria Coffee Company was founded, named in honor of Queen Victoria. Equipped with cutting-edge European machinery, innovative hydraulic systems, and meticulous agricultural practices, these families transformed the fertile slopes of the Sierra into an iconic high-altitude coffee estate, captivating coffee lovers around the world.
In the 1950s, La Victoria was acquired by the German Weber family, who elevated the estate to a new level by pioneering organic coffee cultivation and refining its production processes. In the mountains of the Sierra, they raised their family and built a deeply rooted community alongside the other families of the farm, who continue to dedicate their lives to these blessed lands.
Today, Stefan Deuster, Claudia Stubbs, and the entire La Victoria family carry this legacy forward with a vision that unites coffee excellence, agricultural sustainability, community well-being, and profound respect for the Sierra.
The Sierra Nevada is also the ancestral home of the Kogui, Arhuaco, Wiwa, and Kankuamo communities. Their worldview, sacred relationship with nature, and shared wisdom remind us that we cultivate not only the land, but in the Pachamama herself:
Mother of cycles, source of abundance, the navel of the world.
